I started out in the Health & Beauty Industry educating and helping people with proper supplementation and detoxification. In 2004, I was introduced to and later certified in using a special skin magnifying instrument, which enabled us to look below the 3 layers of skin. This opened up the door to help us determine what our clients should be using in terms of skin care and helping with any ongoing or short-term concerns they had.
In 2005/2006 I began certifying in Esthetics to fully understand the skin structure and be able to help my clients more with therapy. Certificates include facials, manicures, pedicures, lash/brow tint and perm, body treatments, and using safe, holistic skin care in the Spa.
We offer alternative approaches to using proper skin care designed for the client so they don't feel the need for abrasive or surgical methods. Even if they use Botox, laser or any other abrasive methods, we recommend that they benefit their skin by using a regular proper skin care regimen and supplementation in between these appointments. Everyone wants to be "fixed" and there's nothing wrong with that, but what are you doing in between all the "magic" you are exposing yourself to? You have to work with your skin and body. We are all aging. Time will never be available again and you need to keep that relationship going with yourself. Treat your skin care regimen and internal health like your marriage. Take it seriously if you want the results to occur. You can't expect one little "pill" to make it all better; it is a series of adjustments and continuous effort to present yourself the way you would like to in today's environment. We all battle similar environmental stresses, but we also each make choices every day to stay healthy inside and out. Keep in mind, we don't "treat" problems as we are not dermatologists or doctors, but we will "suggest and recommend" different routes you may take towards a healthier complexion.
My wedding was in 2007, and I realized it would have been great to just have that "someone" in the background there to help with holding my purse to handing me floss or letting me know that I had sweat build up on my forehead... ha-ha! I would have PAID for that special person to help out! Don't get me wrong, I had my beautiful Maid of Honour, but she was busy trying to do the same thing! This is where Bridal Secret Service developed -- SOS for the entire wedding party!!!
So here we are, fresh in the industry and excited about where it's going to take us! We are looking forward to expanding and working with fellow businesses to help make Dreams come true! I hope they will be yours!
